Day 1: Marrakesh – Tishka Pass – Ait Ben Hddou -- Ouarzazat
Your adventure begins from Marakesh to Ouarzazat via Tizi N’Tishka pass. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the eye-catching sights from the summit of the High Atlas Mountains and discover small villages where local Amazigh people live. You will stop in one of the side-road restaurants to taste some typical Amazigh food. Then, your trip continues towards one of the UNISCO’s world heritage ‘Ait Ben Haddo’; a fortified old Kasbah on a hill by a superb river. Ait Ben Haddo has attracted so many film producers to take it as a backdrop for their films including Lawrence of Arabia, Jewel of the Nile, The Mummy and Gladiator.
Day 2: Ouarzazat, Cinema studios – Tourirt Kasbah – Skura- Dades valley
Spend a morning in Ouarzazat; the Moroccan Hollywood city and visit one of the wonderful old Kasbahs; Kasbah Tourirt and enjoy unique architecture, you will also visit cinema studios
Then, your trip will take you to the city of roses ‘ Kelaa m’gouna’ and enjoy the vast fields of roses and the Dades Valley and Skura; known as ‘ the Valley of One Thousand Kasbahs’ and then spend a night in a hotel or a Kasbah by the river of Dades.
Day 3: Dades – Boumaln Dades – Tinghir Gorges – Merzoga – Err Chebbi
After having your breakfast and visit the small city of Boumaln Dades and Dades Gorges, your next destination will be towards the fantastic Tinghir Gorges where you will see one of the most eye-catching Gorges in the world. Then, your trip will also take you to Merzoga, the Sahara desert, where you will have a night stop to enjoy camel riding, discovering the beautiful sand dunes of Erg Chebbi and spending a night in Bivouac.
Day 4 : Err chg Chebbi – Erresani – Kasbahs and Ksours - Zaouiya
Waking up to the fabulous sunrise that peacefully invades the dunes creating a wonderful mixture of colors, you will be trekking back on camels to explore the desert region and the nomad's way of life and the amazing changing contrasts of the of the desert you will also have an opportunity to visit the small city of Erresani and discover another rich aspects of Moroccan Architecture by visiting some old palaces ‘ksour’ and Kasbahs that were built in the middle of Tafilalt palm oasis. Will also have a chance to visit the Zaouia of Moulay Ali Sherif (Mausoleum of the dynasty’s founder). In the afternoon, you will ride the camels to see the sunset over the dunes and spend the night in the desert camp. We will have a traditional tagine for dinner, drink delicious mint tea, and listen to traditional Berber music while watching the stars and the rising moon in the amazing Sahara desert.
Day 5: Merzouga - Errachida - Midelt - Azrou - Ifrane - Fes
It’s highly recommended to wake up early to enjoy the beautiful sunrise and say good bye to the desert. Your trip will continues towards Fez; Morocco’s first capital city. On the way you will be astonished by the great vast landscapes of Ziz Valley and Errachidia city, a lunch stop will be in Midelt and then it’s time to discover and enjoy the largest forest of Cedar in Morocco where monkeys say hi to everyone. Afterwards, your journey will take you to Ifran and then to Fez.
